Choosing the Correct Type of Cartridge for Your Injection Machine
This video illustrates how to select the correct cartridge for your injection machine.
Create A Waxing Tool
To create a very smooth and natural contour, shape the eraser of a pencil into a wedge. Use the wedge in between teeth or nooks and crannies to achieve a natural festoon.
Design – Case 1
Very difficult case with major blockout needed and challenging path of insertion.
The forward-angled remaining teeth will make fitting the model challenging. Be patient when fitting and the model.
Design – Case 2
Video demonstrates the recommended design for this free end saddle.
Challenges arise with the angulation of the first molar.
Design – Case 4
Design for a case with long free end saddles.
The angulation of the teeth present a challenge with path of insertion.
Design – Case 5
A good example of when a conservative blockout can give you more freedom in the fitting/finishing stage.
Design – Case 6
A story of a patient who was wearing an acrylic wire partial denture and switched to a TCS appliance.
A story of a Happy Patient.
Diatorics
Use TCS Twist Drills for diatorics.
Diatoric holes must be made in a “T” shape that connect in the middle.
Finishing Part 1
Use the Econo Cutter to remove sprues. The Rubberized Abrasive Wheel to trim edges.
Finishing Part 4
Use a Pink Zirconia Bur or a Carbide Bur to gradually fit the partial for accurate retention.
Clasp adjustment tips included.
Finishing Part 5
Use a Brown Rubber Wheel to rubberize the entire TCS partial. This is a crucial step for achieving a high shine in the polishing stage.
Use a TCS Mini Fuzz Buff to further smoothen the partial for an enhanced polish.
Fixing Air Bubbles
This video illustrates a simple way to get rid of air bubbles that often occur when fabricating flexible partials.
How To Care For TCS Appliances
Short video on how to care for TCS appliances using the TCS Concentrated Dental Appliance Cleaner.
Investing with Putty 95
Invest with Putty 95 for clean injections and to save time during the finishing stage!
Karadent Double Injection
How to double inject with Karadent for clear frameworks and pink gingiva.
Karadent™ with Acrylic
An overview on how to fabricate a Karadent™ clear framework with acrylic saddles.
Lingual Wax Application
Cutting an opening on the palate wax pattern allows the wax to bend for easier application.
Pumice with Turbo Buff
The TCS Turbo cuts pumicing time in half and lasts 5 times longer than Rag Buffs. Turbo Buffs are used only for pumicing.
Understanding Design 1
Following the Kennedy method, we will evaluate a case to determine the type of partial denture, design, and functionality that best suits the case.
Understanding Design 2
Following the Kennedy method, we will evaluate a case to determine the type of partial denture, design, and functionality that best suits the case.
Understanding Design 3
Following the Kennedy method, we will evaluate a case to determine the type of partial denture, design, and functionality that best suits the case.
