"It had been some time that I had gone to a dentist and I was needing to find a new dentist. My niece was working for one—Dr. William D. Causey – in Covington, LA. Dr. Causey was pleasant and gentle, but had to inform me that I was losing my bottom 4 front teeth, because a temporary splint was coming loose behind them. After receiving this bad news, and being new to partials, I advised him I would be needing a temporary partial because I was not going to go around the public without my bottom front teeth. I received my temporary partial prior to extracting those teeth, and found them to be serviceable, but a pain to keep food out from under the bottom, and frequent adjustments needed for the semi-proper fit. Upon the arrival of my permanent partial, you would have thought the mould created from my mouth belonged to a whole other person!!! Painful and next to impossible for me to remove without a “flat bar” tool of some sort. I felt like my own teeth were going to be extracted right out of my head when I removed them. Dr. Causey worked on them several times within that first week to adjust, but nothing was helping, so I needed to go back with my loose temporary partial. I had always heard that bottom teeth were harder to fit properly than top teeth. I was upset and concerned. Dr. Causey told me not to give up—he was going to try another company’s partial, so he took a new impression, told me I would need to wait once again, but that this problem was going to be solved—no matter what. The very day I was called into his office to put on my new permanent partial, I was absolutely elated with the immediate comfort and excellent fit. I have had them a few months now, and could not be happier. Well worth the considerable wait to get this right. I have absolutely no loose fit, food lodging under bottom side, or difficulty pulling out of my mouth. I would recommend them to any and everybody.
