The Together We Smile – TCS Gives Back Charitable Event is an outreach program that travels to remote areas across the globe to deliver partials and dentures to people in need. Although oral care is available to everyone, those who live on low incomes have no real access to proper oral care and treatment. TCS launched Together We Smile to serve those communities and bring happy smiles whenever we can!
TCS Together We Smile was launched in 2018 with its first mission in the Dominican Republic. Partnering with Jack Meibaum and his charity, Mission Para Los Niños, TCS set up a pop-up dental lab to treat and fabricate partials and dentures for over 60 patients. This initiative was repeated in 2019, furthering our commitment to restoring smiles.
In 2022, our team traveled to La Guajira, Colombia, followed by San Andrés, Colombia, in 2023, and Thailand in 2024. Each mission is dedicated to providing as many patients as possible with dentures and partials within a one-and-a-half-week timeframe.
Most recently, in early January 2025, our team journeyed to Sangolqui, Ecuador, where we had the privilege of transforming the lives of over 46 patients through our dental care services, creating over 80 appliances in just four days. The work is demanding, with long hours and tireless effort, but the joy and gratitude from our patients make it all worthwhile.
The Together We Smile outreach program thrives today thanks to the collaboration of local dentists, technicians, generous dental suppliers, and our incredible volunteers. By working together, we continue to provide life-changing dental solutions to individusals in need, restoring confidence and happiness – one smile at a time.
